Comprehensive Diagnostic Home Energy Audits are performed by a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Building Analyst. Trained energy experts will install several free energy saving measures - such as CFLs, smart power strips, faucet aerators and water heater pipe insulation - and provide you with additional recommendations to make your home more energy efficient.
You hire a qualified analyst and pay the full cost of the audit, and PPL will reimburse you $150 or $250 depending on the type of heating and cooling system you have. By implementing the recommendations of the analyst, you also could qualify for additional rebates.
