| Consultation and Design
Your Comfort Home is the result of research and extensive tracking studies. The Comfort Home program applies this research to specific heat loss/heat gain calculations for your home. With your builder, we then set exact mechanical system and construction requirements, including tightness of the shell and insulation values. We analyze all energy-draining variables at the earlies design stage. Like a fine orchestra, every component of the home that could have the slightest effect on comfort and energy usage is tuned to work in harmony. Where necessary, we change design and specifications to improve performance and comfort. The advantage of this process is simple. Unlike conventional homes, where various subcontractors with different levels of expertise build and install separate components, a Comfort Home is built under a single, exacting set of standards. These standards are agreed to between Comfort Home Corp. and your builder before construction begins. |
Constant consultation between Comfort Home, your builder and the approved subcontractor assures built-in efficiency and comfort -- comfort by design. |
| Construction and Mechanical Systems Analysis
During construction, Comfort Home technicians analyze and monitor what takes shape as a whole-house system. The objective is to build your home correctly from the outset, not fix flaws later on. Comfort Home technicians reduce convective losses, seal all penetrations of the thermal envelope, and evaluate and maximize the efficiency of all duct systems. Your Comfort Home is unique because of the attention to detail throughout the design and construction. |
Air flow measurement devices fine-tune the home's distribution system. |
| Final Inspection and Warranty
Once your home is completed, Comfort Home applies state-of-the-art technology to test the entire system. Your home is analyzed for maximum thermal efficiency and comfort.
Once these conditions are met exactly as established at the design stage, the home is awarded the Comfort Home Warranty. It's your assurance that it meets our standards for a comfortable, energy-efficient home. |
Infrared thermography verifies that no insulation gaps exist. |
