Federal, state and local legislation greatly affect how our country purchases, sells, distributes, and uses energy. ComfortHome has been intimately involved in such prominent legislation as title 24 in California, and the Department of Energy's (DOE), US EPA's ENERGY STAR program, and EPA's Builder Challenge among others.

ComfortHome is an active member of the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), promoting public policy that advocates for energy efficiency. We also play a critical role in industry associations and other groups that foster energy efficiency and better building durability.

In addition to our involvement in government policy and programs, ComfortHome services programs funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and Department of Health and Human Services through Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). ComfortHome currently services: Allegheny County Together In Our Neighborhood (ACTION-Housing), Inc., County Commissioners of York County, County Commissioners of Bucks County, and the County Commissioners of Montgomery County.
